Pheewwww!
The U.N.'s conference on small arms has ended with a whimper. No final agreement or treaty came out of it.
Looking back on it now, I'm beginning to wonder what I was so worried about.
I mean, when has the U.N. ever accomplished anything?
If the U.N. can't come together to deal with Kim Jong Il or Saddam Hussein why did I worry they would weaken my gun rights?
Nevertheless, better to be safe than sorry, eh what?

Better safe than sorry, indeed. While the UN is generally a gaggle of 'do-nothings,' their capacity to advance the cause of global socialism should not be underestimated.
I commend the NRA for increasing the public's awareness of this issue. While I usually prefer the methods of grassroots 2A groups locally, no one can take on the global gun ban crowd like the NRA.
